(1) DHARMA YOGA - BEYOND ASANAS

SATURDAY 1st FEBRUARY - 2:30-4:30pm AT THE POWER YOGA COMPANY - IN-STUDIO AND ONLINE

Dharma Yoga is ‘a devotional practice that emphasises good health, a clear mind and a kind heart’ developed by legendary Yoga Master and living Yogi example Sri Dharma Mittra. The class will start with pranayama and asanas, practising all the main poses. The asana practice makes the body strong and flexible and prepares you for meditation.

After the asana practice and deep relaxation, we will balance the entire system by practising alternate nostril breathing with retention, linking breath, body and mind. We will conclude with a meditation with seed, using a mantra.

This practice will give you the opportunity to discover several yogic techniques, going beyond asanas and the physical body.

(2) DHARMA - ACRO - YIN YOGA PRACTICE with SARAH DRAI

SATURDAY 8 FEBRUARY - 2:30-4:30pm AT CAT N’ COW - 1 HARRIGTON GARDENS - SW7 4JJ

Join Sarah and I for a two-hour multidisciplinary, but all Yoga, practice! It will take place in a gorgeous space, which will soon host Cat n’ Cow Bistro, just above the new Yoga and Reformer studio in South Kensington.

We will start with a 45-minute Dharma Yoga practice to warm-up the body, working on our strength and flexibility. The asana practice will be accessible to all, including beginners. We will continue with partner / acro-Yoga, to spark connection and playfulness. This is a fun way to practice Yoga, building trust and team play. We will close the practice with gentle Yin Yoga and meditation to ground us all.

The workshop is open to all-level practitioners.  It is a great opportunity to practice different styles of Yoga, to have fun, maybe challenge yourself but also relax.

Price is £30 per person or £50 for couples.
