(1) DHARMA YOGA - GO UPSIDE DOWN!
SATURDAY 8 SEPTEMBER - 2:30-4:30pm AT THE POWER YOGA COMPANY - IN-STUDIO AND ONLINE
The two-hour practice will start with breathing / pranayama techniques, to purify the nervous system and calm the mind.
We will continue with the asana practice, which will be a complete practice, but include many opportunities to go upside down. There won’t be drills but there will be repetitions - with tips and tricks! If you can already easily invert, variations will be offered, some typical to Dharma Yoga, a practice always full of fun and originality. Inversions have so many benefits - they improve oxygen and blood circulation in the body, increase immunity by allowing lymph to travel more easily and pick up toxins, they improve our balance, core strength and confidence, while keeping us humble.
We will finish with a guided relaxation in order to bring on a deep sense of calm, balance, peace and invigorated energy to all students.
This workshop is open to all levels, but not complete beginners. It is an opportunity to discover and practise Dharma Yoga, ‘a devotional practice that emphasises good health, a clear mind and a kind heart’ developed by legendary Yoga Master and living Yogi example Sri Dharma Mittra.

(2) DHARMA YOGA - HIPS FOCUS
SATURDAY 23 NOVEMBER - 2:30-4:30pm AT THE POWER YOGA COMPANY - IN-STUDIO AND ONLINE
Join me for a complete Dharma Yoga practice, which will focus on opening our hips. The two-hour practice will start with breathing / pranayama techniques. The benefits of pranayama are countless from - and not limited to - strengthening the lungs, stimulating digestion, purifying the nervous system to calming the mind and withdrawing the senses inwards.
The asana practice will be a complete practice involving sun salutations and all the main poses - standing, forward-folding, twisting, balancing and backbending postures. We will on balance practise more poses focusing on mobilising our hips to access their full range of motion. Everyone according to their conditions!
We will conclude the practice with guided relaxation leading to a deep sense of calm and peace.
The workshop is open to all-level practitioners but not complete beginners. It is a great opportunity to discover or practice Dharma Yoga, a graceful, yet challenging form of yoga based on Sri Dharma Mittra’s practice of classical yoga for over fifty years.
